Explanation of Results
This graphic representation of the Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC) results of THE RISS SYSTEM™ demonstrates the performance of the system. The data represents 13 different air samples taken with thermal desorption tubes, on six different days over a 107 day period, in a 2800 square foot single story, single family residence.
Samples were analyzed by Air Quality Sciences utilizing thermal desorption/mass spectrometry based upon ASTM D 6196.
As indicated the TVOC beginning levels at 544ug/m3, and was reduced to 37.6 ug/m3. Over the 107 day period, there was a steady decline in the TVOC levels beginning 15 days post installation of THE RISS SYSTEM™. The 15 days following the installation is a transitional period where the gases that are trapped within the interstitial spaces of the building are seeking equilibrium within the indoor environment, due in part to one aspect of the system installation. The steady decline thereafter, represents the performance over time of THE RISS SYSTEM’S™ unique technology in the reduction of the TVOC within the indoor air environment.
